As we already told you last week, Drayson Racing has set a new World Electric Land Speed Record for electric cars, after their B12 69/EV Le-Mans Prototype achieved a top speed of 204.185 mph (328.604 km/h).
The new benchmark was established at the Elvington Airfield in England, where former British science minister and racing driver Lod Drayson smashed the previous 175 mph (281.6 km/h) record, which had stood for nearly forty years.
Drayson's Lola B12 69/EV Le Mans prototype managed to get past the 200 miles per hour mark thanks to its total output of 850 bhp (634 kW) and lightweight body and battery pack. Scroll below to watch the impressive run for yourself in the new footage published by Drayson Racing.
