In between being top athletes of their sports and wealthy millionaires, football player Cristiano Ronaldo and Formula One driver Jenson Button got together for a little fun on the track with the 650S, a British supercar from McLaren.
The "official" reason these two got together is probably a watch commercial being made for TAG Heuer. Both have been mentioning the company in their Facebook posts and using the hashtag #‎DontCrackUnderPressure,, which in of itself also sounds like a clever way to promote the pressure resistance of a watch case.

One of the videos posted by Ronaldo shows him kicking balls at an orange McLaren 650S Spider with the top open. The reason? Do you even have to ask – it's to see if he can get the ball into the car.

The conversations between the two have not been recorded, but we image they went a little bit like this: "Hey Ronaldo, I bet that fancy foot of yours can't get a ball into that McLaren if I'm doing donuts!"

What kind of car brings a British Formula One driver and a Portuguese footballer? The 650S spider is a new chapter in McLaren's history, a 650 horsepower turbocharged freak of nature. After receiving standing ovations for the P1 hypercar, they decided to inject the 12C with a few of its genes.

Last year, Cristiano Ronaldo actually purchased a new McLaren MP4-12C Spyder, which he was frequently seen driving. However, the football star has pretty much had every cool car on the market and as a perk of being famous even get to drive some cars for free. Ronaldo's rides have included a BMW M6, a Maserati convertible, the Porsche Cayenne and famously an all-black Lamborghini Aventador. As for his buddy in fun, let's just say Button is one of the fastest men on earth.
