Time sure flies for most cars, but it seems to have stood still for other. It's pretty hard to believe that the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren was launched back in 2003, with none of its versions being in production for over three years now.
It is also hard to believe that the always-enjoyable Chris Harris has been in the business of lighting up supercar rear tires on camera for almost an equal amount of time.
Back in 2004, for example, most video-sharing websites were still either an idea or in their infancy (YouTube was launched in 2005, ed), so drifting cars while being filmed with GoPros for the enjoyment of millions of Internet users was not even a dream.
This apparently didn't stop Harris, who was torturing the rear tires of the following Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren for a magazine while being photographed with a D-SLR and also filmed via a pair of very shaky hands.
An entire decade later, the SLR McLaren is as beautiful and as contemporary-looking as it ever was, while Harris is keeping up with his old antiques on the /Drive YouTube channel.
