When you are born as a Porsche 911, the Gods in the engineering department may have gifted you with an unbeatable technical side, but your most important strentgth can also be your biggest weakness. Let’s say that, for instance, you want to be special. Well, all 911s are special, so that’s nearly impossible.
Well, one 911 that certainly managed to achieve this status and we’re talking about Sally Carrera, the... ahem... rather hot female character from the animation movie Cars.
Sally is currently displayed in the Porsche Museum Stuttgart and we’ve got a walkaround video showing her as the true beauty that she is. Nonetheless, before anybody goes out there and puts Sally on a pedestal of innocence, we have to remind you that this girl comes with a tramp stamp - the tattoo is placed on its engine bonnet, just over the “Carerra” badging.
And Sally was no slow girl either. This is a 996-generation (the 911 from two generations ago) 911 Carrera and while it may be the entry-level model, but it still packed 300 PS, enough to play the 0 to 62 mph game in 5 seconds and climb to a top speed of 178 mph (286 km/h).
Oh and Sally was also the crush of Lighting McQueen the main star of Cars, a NASCAR racer set loose on public roads...
