Watch Bugatti La Finale’s Genesis In Stunning Making Of Tribute

The end of an era is often greeted with both regret and enthusiasm and when it comes to the legacy left behind by the Bugatti Veyron, it is hard not to have these both mixed up. For those of you who are still sighing after the Veyron, here’s a reason to smile: a tribute video showing La Finale’s assembly process.

A few weeks ago, the La Finale episode started after Bugatti announced that its 450th Veyron found itself a rich owner after a customer from the Middle East bought the last Grand Vitesse Roadster standing. After that, the French carmaker brought the car in Geneva and we got to see how the W16 engine powering the Bugatti Veyron was manually assembled.

Bugatti thought it’s high time we got another look behind the scenes but this time the entire assembly process of the Veyron La Finale has been summarized and delivered in a video that will make petrolheads want to take a bow in appreciation and respect.

In the purest Bugatti fashion, this rare insight into the company’s production line in Molsheim, France proves once again why Ettore Bugatti was a genius in the first place. If you think we’re starting to sound too dramatic, just head below and watch the video.

Maybe it’s because the Bugatti Veyron’s time is over or maybe it’s because it doesn’t happen very often to see a supercar calling it a day, but we are starting to like the Veyron even more right now, than we did when it was still in its prime.
