Watch Acura NSX Concept Detroit Unveiling Video

Tony Stark’s new wheels of choice has been revealed at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show yesterday, and the big news is that it’s a hybrid AWD model, just the way he probably likes it, since he enjoyed his Audi R8 and loves technology. But the big question remaining is whether or not we like it.
Interestingly enough, the unveiling of the NSX Concept is done by Honda Motor Co. President & CEO Takanobu Ito, who’s English is a bit bad. But what’s interesting is that mr. Ito was involved in the development of the sportscar chassis that would eventually become the first NSX.

The new NSX has a mid-mounted V6 that’s part of the new Acura port Hybrid SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) hybrid system. We don’t have output figures for the engine, but we do know that the V6 offers direct injection, so we expect almost 350 hp and a combined output for the whole powertrain of about 400 or so Japanese horsepower.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
