If you haven’t had the chance to go at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show yet, here is a short report from Toyota’s booth, showing its most interesting vehicles and concepts.
Of course, the main attraction was the recently-hyped Yaris Hybrid-R concept that borrows Le Mans hybrid racing technology and adapts it both for road and track efficiency. It has a 300 hp turbocharged gasoline engine and three electric motors - one in the sequential gearbox and two on the rear axle.
But Toyota has more interesting stuff going down at their booth. Like the new Auris Touring Sports Hybrid model, that was cut in half for people to understand how the automaker achieved both fuel efficiency and the comfort/versatility of a normal estate vehicle.
