Watch a Pickup Truck Driver Blow His Bumper Off: How Not to Tow

Towing is definitely not for everybody. However, while certain people get it wrong thanks to the lack of experience, the driver of the Ford Ranger in the adjacent clip manages to pull out a massive towing fail due to his high level of douchebaggery.

The man wanted to help a Dodge Ram that had got stuck while biting more rugged terrain than it could chew. The first part of the action was simple - a tow strap was used to... connect the cars.

The Ranger had about 30 feet (9-10 meters) to move and he decided to use each and every one of these to gain momentum. Yep, the man yanked the hell out of that strap. Aside from giving the Ram quite a shock, the driver managed to blow the bumper right off his Ford.

While we’re not quite sure the guy learned his lesson, one thing is certain - the Ford driver gets a lot of trolling from the people around him. The best example here is the cameraman, who does not waste the occasion to make fun of the guy.

Actually, the Ranger driver was lucky to have gotten away with just a bumper replacement job. All that tension in the strap could have cause the hook to start flying around, with the results obviously having a serious devastation potential.

PS: we're not quite certain about this, but it seemed to us like we heard the retired Merc in the background giggle a little bit when that front bumper came off the Ford.
