The Nissan Leaf Nismo RC was built back in 2011 to promote electric car racing and the Japanese automaker's production EV. It's actually built not around the road car's chassis, but on a bespoke tubular frame. It packs 107 horsepower and is juiced by a lithium-ion pack that can reach an 80 percent charge state in just 30 minutes.

These videos were taken this weekend at a special event organized by Nissan in Japan. We don't think you guys want to hear the details, so without further ado, here's a drifting Nissan Leaf.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
