No matter what car you drive, there will always be somebody faster than you out there on the road. This is one of the golden rules of enjoying four-wheeled contraptions and we’ve got a video that comes to demonstrate this. The clip takes us to the German Autobahn, where we see a McLaren 12C chasing a pair of Koenigseggs.
The chase was part of a spring supercar event held by a crew named Petrolhead Events, which saw the go-fast machines travel from Weeze Airport towards Dusseldorf.

The footage shows the 12C, a coupe, trying to keep up with a Koenigsegg Agera and a Koenigsegg CCX. On the famous no-speed-limit portions of the German Autobahn, the game reaches 300 km/h (186 mph).

The Mac may be the kind of car that comes with neck-snapping acceleration, but it can’t keep up with the Swedish athletes. There are times when you could bet on the British hypecar staying pretty much close to the hypercars. Then drivers in the Koenigseggs floor it and vanish into the horizon.

Well, at least all three have V8 engines. The three machines also share the ability to spit flames, but there’s an issue here. The fire usually arrives during upshifts, when the Koenigseggs are not exactly close to the McLaren camera car.
