The Toyota RAV4 has truly grown up and with the 2014 model it all feel like a baby Land Cruiser when you are behind the wheel. Nonetheless, we are pretty sure this solid feel didn’t help one female driver in Monaco too much, with her RAV4 being attacked by a Lamborghini Aventador.

The Aventador was being handled by a valet, who was attempting the usual reverse parking maneuver. Upon bringing the car in the correct position, the man wanted to enjoy that glorious voice one more time, so he gave the throttle a little impulse.

Unfortunately, he hadn’t put the Aventador in neutral, as we suspect he was expecting. Instead, the robotised manual was in first gear, so the gas pedal interaction send the supercar straight into an unsuspecting RAV 4, which was just passing by.

While we’ve seen such unfortunate events hurt exotics before, the slow reaction time of the valet comes as a bit of a surprise here - notice that it takes quite a while for the man to realise what is going on and bring the car to a halt.

The Aventador hit the side of the Toyota, with the impact involving the nose of the supecar and the left front wheel area of the Toyota.

This was obviously a small speed impact, but while the RAV4 wasn’t affected very seriously, the front fascia of the Aventador is ruined, as you can see in the clip below.
