When you drive a Jaguar F-Type, the need for some extra oomph is probably the last thing you will experience. Regardless of the engine choice, this Jag huffs, puffs and blows your powerhouse down. As usual, there will be some for which the F-Type’s OEM package is not enough and the tuning world is more than happy to cater to their needs. The latest example of this comes from Viezu.
The British aftermarket specialist has recently used its powers on the Jaguar F-Type. In the process, they’ve obviously taken the car to the dyno and they’ve got the video to prove it.
The clip below shows the F-Type stretching its eight-speed automatic legs on the dyno. Viezu explains they offer a pulley upgrade, as well as an ECU remap for the latest model to have joined Jaguar's line-up.
They do offer a 40 hp gain figure, but the details are unclear. For instance, the tuner does not mention the model this upgrade is destined for. Judging by the video’s soundtrack, we are talking about the V6 S model, not the V8. Nonetheless, we expect Viezu to also cover the eight-cylinder unit. Sure, this has even more power, which translates into the car's desire to go sideways, but that doesn't seem to stop anybody.
