When it comes to straight line drag racing, the M6 is a terrible monster not to be messed with. Say what you want about it on the circuit, in tight bends and about its weight but when it comes to a drag race, you are in danger of being ridiculed, no matter the car you drive.
One Lamborghini just found that out, the hard way. When the two cars lined-up to race, the driver of the Lambo probably thought he'd get away, easily. Real-life proved him wrong.

Going over the numbers, you'd realize that the Gallardo was indeed the favorite. With a 5.2-liter V10 engine that develops 560 HP and 540 Nm (400 lb-ft) of torque, a weight of 1,550 kg (3,400 lbs) and a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) sprint of 4 seconds, the Italian is a hard car to beat.

The M6 on the other hand came prepared with more torque (680 Nm or 501 lb-ft), the same amount of power and a smaller engine. However, it also has over 500 kg (1,102 lbs) more on the scale so keeping up with the Lambo was not expected. Curious about what happened? Watch the video.
