Hennessey Performance is currently playing with the 2014 Corvette Stingray these days. As part of the process that precedes their releases, they’re testing the stock vehicle and now we are given a video of the standing mile.
Let’s take an alphanumeric moment and tell you this is a stock 2014 Corvette Stingray with an auto tranny and using the Z51 Package and 3LT package.
The 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) sprint was completed in 4.2 seconds, while the 0 to 100 mph (161 km/h) run took 9.6 seconds. Given 24.4 seconds, the new ‘Vette completed the 0 to 150 mph (241.5 km/h) sprint. When it came to the standing mile itself, the 2014 Corvette dealt with this in 31.4 seconds at 159.5 mph (257 km/h).
As for the Hennessey part of the 2014 Corvette Stingray, they’re planning to take the thing up to 1,100 HP.
