Want proof that Volvo built some of the most awesome cars ever? Look no further than this amazing drag racing video coming our way from the Souther land, Sweden.
Just as the winter ices melted, a 1998 Volvo S40 sedan came out in force, ready to poince on unsuspecting cars that were not prepared for its tuned might. The T4 model has been tuned to produce no less than 420 horsepower.

That makes it quite the sleeper, but even we did not suspect it could take on the might of Sant'Agata Bolognese. An older model Lamborghini Gallardo LP520-4 proves its 5.2-liter V10 engine is not as much of a match as you might think.

Sure, it might have 100 extra horsepower, but for some reason it just can't pull as well as this Scandinavian sleeper. Off the line, the Lambo is a bit quicker, but brick-like aerodynamics and the first-generation E-gear system prove its Achilles heel.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
