Many have tried to come up with ways of relieving the stress of a traffic jam and we may have come across the best possible effort. How about a major jam involving 150 vehicles, but one that only includes supercars?
This is what we have in the adjacent video, except it is not exactly a traffic jam. Instead, we are talking about what is called a Secret Meet. This is the fourth annual gathering of this kind. Like we said, the 2014 edition saw 150 pieces of exotic machinery head onto the Bruntingthorpe aerodrome.
Organised by a team called Supercar Driver, the event included all sorts of high octane moments, such as a McLaren P1 drive we previously showed you. Nonetheless, the highlight of the action was when everybody allow themselves to be inspired by the airplane behind them - the supercars got in formation for a majestic photoshoot.
As for the members of this secret society, it all feels like a petrol-powered combination between Wonderland and Neverland. From the aforementioned McLaren P1 and the Ferrari Enzo, to the Ferrari F40 LM and the Lamborghini Countach, they were all there. The Lamborghini Aventador, for instance was as normal as normal can be in such a landscape. TVR, Bentley, you name it.
The tuning world was represented by some of its wildest creations, creatures like a Rauh Welt Porsche 911 or a Ford GT 720 Mirage.
