We've never heard about Team War Machine before today, but after seeing their race car we're not going to forget them in a hurry. Their website plays AC/DC when you visit it, while their Porsche 997 GT2 was pretty sick. But wait 'till you see what they've done to it now!
You guys remember those awesome war machines the German Luftwaffe used during the war? From Messerschmitts to Focke-Wulfs, the war aces proudly painted their fighters with shark teeth and dragon scales. The Porsche 911 has just that snarling attitude and if we met it on the track we'd think twice before engaging in a dogfight.
Since 2011, Team War Machine set the pace in the STT series with their Porsche 997 3.6 RSR GT2 Bi-Turbo making 530 hp. But the car has visited the workshop of Mcchip-DKR SoftwarePerformance, where it receive a major boost from a Stage 3 kit with radical oversized turbos and exhaust pipes bolted straight onto them. A quick software boost and the car now puts down 600 hp. In addition, different setups for changing temperature conditions can be programmed into the boxer race mill.
At the end of March (this weekend), the reengineered "War Machine" is taking to the track at the Spa Francochamps.
