Those of us who were born outside Germany can never get too close to understanding the country's humor, which is why we make full use of any opportunity that might allow us to walk down this giggle path. And the latest sample of the sort comes from a rather unexpected source, since we're talking about Porsche and the new GT3.
Zuffenhausen has just released a piece of footage showcasing the naturally aspirated machine in action and while the clip is not the long kind, we're dropping a bit of a spoiler here.

Pay close attention to the moment when Walter Rohrl talks about the possibility of the GT Division Neunelfer understeering. Leave it to Porsche to deliver the said German humor sample by showing us the famous driver sliding the hell out of the 500 hp machine in the next frame.

Yes, the ex-rally driver is now 70, but he never drops any hints on wishing to retire. After all, what could he do after no longing working for Porsche - powerslide his personal 911s?

Speaking of the steering wheel wielder's age and his Porsches, we'll remind you of the special 70th birthday present Rohrl showcased back in the spring. We're talking about the aficionado's Oak Green Metallic 911 R.

As a possible coincidence, the 991.2 GT3 we have here also comes with a manual tranny, even though the German automotive producer decided to stay off the Fast And Furious path, meaning that you won't get to see the VIP rowing through the gears.

Oh, and if you're looking for a respectable sample of the Gen 2 GT3's wilder voice, be sure to check out this track manhandling video.

Now that the Touring Package for the GT3 is here, mortals who have around $150,000 to spend can get this as a 911 R "for the masses", but this is another story for another time.
