We can only cheer seeing that Ducati decided to offer us such a neat walkaround video of their all-new Desmosedici GP16 machine. Honestly, we'd not be upset if all the teams that field bikes on the MotoGP grid did the same ahead of the season debut.
Even though you're not a fan of super-fast MotoGP machines, believe us that there is something almost magical about them. If you're ever lucky enough to get really close to one of the bikes in the premier class, you'll most likely be able almost to connect with them.

Though silent and inanimate when set on display at bike shows, these motorcycles have a different way they communicate with those who behold them.

We happened to get as close as inches to some of the MotoGP machines, including those ridden by Andrea Iannone, Aleix Espargaro, 2015 MotoGP World Champion Jorge Lorenzo, and even Valentino Rossi.

There is indeed a certain vibe that emanates from them, with each part telling a different story. There are stories about superhuman efforts both during training and during the races, stories about victory and bitter defeats, accomplishments and sour moments of frustration, stories about physical pain and mental strength.

Others still retain traces of the frantic moves of the mechanics around them, with each and every nut and bolt made and tweaked for greater speed and better control.

Ducati is hunting high and low for more MotoGP titles

Ducati only has one world title, the one Casey Stoner brought in 2007 for Borgo Panigale. Ducati won 31 races, has 26 second places and 28 third places, with 33 poles and 33 fastest laps. Ducati riders stepped on the podium 95 times with 88 racers.

Before the start of the 2016 season, Ducati motorcycles raced 96,604 kilometers (60,039 miles), of which 4,226 km (2,626 miles) in the lead. 20,972 laps were raced, with 235 in 500cc GP and 225 in MotoGP. And these figures are about to change soon...
