Also known as New York City's single largest media event, this Autumn's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is currently under way, with over 100 designers showing their Spring 2014 collections from September 5 until September 12, at the Lincoln Center.
Among those world-renowned fashion items, Mercedes-Benz has decided to show an icon of its own, the W222 S-Class, arguably the best car in the world in the eyes of many.
The House of Mercedes-Benz fashion boutique is situated in the main lobby of the Lincoln Center, and that's where the specially prepared S-Class is sitting, prepared to greet all visitors to the event.
Claire Distenfeld, owner of the Fivestory fashion boutique and also curator of the fashion looks displayed within The House of Mercedes-Benz, explains: “As a boutique owner myself, I realize the importance of creating an environment that touches each of the customer's five senses. The House of Mercedes-Benz depicts the amazing characteristics of the all-new S-Class in a unique way which appeals to a fashion-minded audience.”
Visitors will be able to experience both the vehicle's Air-Balance perfume system and the energizing hot-stone massaging seats, quite a trade-off for not actually driving the car around the Lincoln Center.
