The Lykan hypercar is truly something special. Its price tag of $3.4 million (about €2.4 million) makes it about as expensive as the P1, 918 and LaFerrari combined, so it has that going for it. But there's also the look of the thing.
If you haven't heard about the Lykan, know that this is a Lebanese-based project built to show the Bugatti Veyron isn't all that special.

In terms of performance, it reaches 100 km/h or 62 mph in 2.8 seconds, before topping out at 395 km/h, or 245 mph. Although we don't actually know exactly what makes it tick, the mid-rear mounted engine has twin turbos and produces 770 horsepower, at least that's what the manufacturer claims.

Fabricators can add rubies, sapphires or emeralds inside the headlights, so when you turn them on, everybody will see just how much money was spent. It takes 3,600 hours to assemble the car by hand, 800 of which is spent just on doing the 16-layer paintjob.

This is the HyperSport, the model that will make W Motors famous through its exclusivity. In 2013, a different model was launched into the pipeline. Called the SuperSport, this will be less exclusive and expensive, but its engine will be more powerful.

The Lykan is shown here being paraded in Monaco and that is because it was being shown during the famous Top Marques Monaco last week, among other famous hypercars. We wonder if there was any other car that there that could match it in terms of price and rarity.
