VW’s British arm has opened the order books for the five-door version of the Up!, with the vehicle adding GBP365 to the price of the three-door Up! and thus coming with a starting price of GBP8,360.
The vehicle comes with the same dimensions as the three-door one, also offering the same features. Customers can choose between three equipment levels: Take up!, Move up! and High up! and the company also offers the special edition up! Black and up! White.
VW expects five-door models to account for around 50 percent of the sales in the UK. For now, you can have a 60 or a 75 hp version of a three-cylinder engine, but an all-electric version is set to arrive next year. As for the transmissions, the car is being laucnehd with a five-speed manual, while 2013 will bring an optional automated manual.
