Back in 2008, when VW gave birth to the new Scirocco, we rejoiced that it came with the same sort of looks and bright green color as the concept that previewed it. But times passed and what was once cool isn’t any more.
And so, one Scirocco owner decided to take his car from green to subtle and elegant finish. Frozen paint is all the rage right now, and this “gray graphite” look pulls the 4-year old coupe firmly in the right direction.
Initially, the owner wanted matte white, but we’re glad he chose this style that will make BMW and Mercedes owners turn their heads in curiosity. All that’s missing now is some 19-inch wheels in our opinion, to give this basic coupe the look of the sportier ‘R’.
