VW Polo with 3-Cylinder Sounds Good With Supersprint Exhaust

The VW Polo might be one of the most premium superminis, despite being four years old already. But there's one engine we'd stay well away from, the basic 1.2-liter.
Unlike the 1.2 TSI which is a four-cylinder, the basic FSI engines are 3-cylinder units based on the old 1.6 block. They vibrate and just don't sound right right, almost like diesels, not to mention they have very little torque.

Now though, the 60 hp and 70 hp base engines on can sound a lot better know thanks to custom exhaust from the guy at Supersprint.

The system oversize is just 45mm, which is enough considering the low output. The front pipe costs €140, followed by center pipe for €110 and the more expensive rear exhaust muffler piece for €476, the part you actually want. Just listen to it rev!

People will never know you only have 60 hp, especially since the rear exhaust is 100x75mm wide.
