The facility features sate of the art equipment and it will be primarily used for technological development, as well as emissions testing. Some 50 engineers will be working there, making sure that all of VW’s products are compliant with the various rules and regulations currently enforced in the US.

Aside from that, they will also concentrate on part analysis, dealer service and training and quality testing. The building itself attempts to be green, as it features no fewer than 2,500 solar panels on its roofs. The facility construction is nearing completion and it will reportedly be ready this fall.
