Volkswagen has a couple of new contenders for the market, the Up! and the new Beetle. We’ve come to expect scale model releases from the German automaker to follow shortly after the full scale car, and they didn’t disappoint this time either.
The up is built in a tiny 1:87 scale but is well detailed given how small it is. You don’t get either moving doors, bonnet or a trunk, but at least you’ll have a lot of room for it on the dash of the real car. The suggested retail price for this on is about €15, but we can’t talk about availability at the moment.
As for the Beetle, this is built in a much larger 1:43 scale, but it still doesn’t have all that many moving parts either. It also comes in a number of colors including White Pearl, Black Pearl, Dark Blue Metallic and Dark Silver Metallic The recommended price for this one is €23.
