Hello ladies and gentlemen drivers, we are here to discuss the basic rules of driving a procharged Nissan 350Z. You see, when you’re out there seeking affordable RWD-obtained speed, slapping a supercharger on your Z is one of the easiest paths, but you have to remember to follow these paths.
First of all, such a Nissan will generally put out about 350-360 hp at the rear wheels. With such an output, challenging a Porsche 911 GT3 is not the best use of your car. We’re not sure how many of the 475 Zuffenhausen-bred horses reach the rear wheels, but you will get smoked.

Sure, since you’re playing the underdog card, it never hurts to try. You might just catch that Porsche driver off guard and enjoy a bit of a good time. Nevertheless, attempting to pull such a stunt might convince others to crash your party.

Let’s take the example in the video below, where a Procharged 350Z was racing a GT3 on the Autobahn, with the Nissan driver deciding to take in the Porsche on sight.

The momentum of the Z does give it a head start, but, as the Porsche starts recovering, a Volkswagen decides to show everybody who’s boss. We’re talking about a Golf I that gets as close to the definition of a sleeper as possible.

We’re not aware of this particular Golf’s specs, but we’ve talked about such machines before. The uploader of the clip talks about a 4-Motion four-wheel drive setup and last time we mentioned such a combination, the cocktail came from a company called Boba Motoring and delivered 1,150 HP.
