The 2013 Worthersee Volkswagen themed show surprises us with this stunning-looking VW Golf GTI cabrio that will probably make any fan drool over it.
Its story starts about a year ago, when thirteen apprentices from Volkswagen’s Wolfsburg and Osnabruck plants started to work on a Mark 6-based Golf GTI to convert it into an open-top cruiser.
The four women and nine talented men managed to create this unique study, by carefully chopping its original roof and replace it with a foldable soft-top. The exterior was painted in a pearl white shade, garnished with red stripes on the hood and low body sides.
Inside, the red accent theme is continued with sport Recaro seats, red and white decorative trimming and stitching as well as a state of the art eleven speaker sound system that generates 2,250 watts - the ICE part seems jsut as important as the visual one.
