The world is filled with people who would much rather be too fast than too slow!
We are of course talking about the amateur racers who descent upon the Nurburgring every weekend of the famous Touristenfahrten, where you pay a few euros and race on the famous track at your own risk.

Unfortunately for this guy, it ended badly. His old VW Corrado lifts and completely loses traction. It smashes sideways into the track safety barrier and gets smashed up badly. The crash is fresh, having taken place Yesterday, June 30th.

Fortunately, the person filming the video tells us both the driver and the passenger of the Corrado were OK and left the car without needing medical attention. Maybe that roll cage was a good idea!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
