VW Beetle GTO Sleeper Uses Mitsubishi 3000GT Engine

Yesterday, we showed you what a heavily modified Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4 drivetrain can do when placed inside a Fiat Coupe. However, we also found a video that shows an even more extreme project built around the same tech.
This time, we are dealing with one tricky sleeper: a classic VW Beetle which uses the 6G72 twin-turbo V6 powerplant. The unit is mated to its original gearbox (not 100 percent original, as it was modified) and sends the power to the rear axle of the Bug.

The project, which uses the 1302 GTO designation, comes all the way from Norway and is still in the work in progress phase. We're inviting you to meet the craziness in the adjacent videos.
