As we reported on multiple occasions, this week marks the beginning of the public vote for the bikes manufactured in the massive and exciting custom competition hosted by Indian, Project Scout: Build a Legend Competition.
Indian Motorcycle put all the 36 custom Scout bikes on a single web page so the public can have one-click access to the entire collection and make a call as to what builds deserve their vote.

We took a quick look at them and can already tell you that deciding which of these are the three best-looking machines was one of the hardest tasks so far this year.

Thankfully, we have a full month to look at these photos and inspect them. Too bad that some of the builders did not bother to take more than four photos of their machines. Likewise, some of the pics are lousy, and one has to be very indulgent to treat them as photos worthy of being entered in a contest.

The competition had no rules, except one: at least three genuine Scout accessories had to be used

The fact that the Project Scout: Build a Legend has virtually no rules is the key element that makes it such an exciting competition. The builders had no restrictions as to the costs of the bike, the style, bike theme, and were only required to obey a single rule.

Each of the bikes had to incorporate at least three genuine Indian Scout accessories from the official catalog, but once more, without any restrictions to the number or the use of these ready-made parts.

Technically, Indian provided all the customizers with total freedom, allowing them to explore and show off the limits of their creativity, without any restrictions that might alter the nature of the bespoke Scouts.

We don't have a favorite yet, let alone three, but we certainly saw several bikes that fired up that je ne sais quoi on the inside. As for the bike in the header, we just had to choose one for the article. Make sure you vote and share this with your friends and help Indian choose their top Project Scout machines!
