Hey there 2014 Ford Mustang fans! Are you looking to supercharge your musclecar in the coming months? If the answer is yes, then we have some great news. The folks over at Vortech Superchargers are seeking for 2014 Mustang 5.0 drivers that are willing to leave their rides for research and development regarding a new forced induction system.
This is not for free, as Vortech says you’ll have a supercharged installed on your Mustang at a “heavily discounted price”. Interested? Great, but don’t get anxious just yet because the company also posted that the ponies must be relatively stock and with no major modification operated under the hood. However, your Mustang is eligible if it sports an axle-back style exhaust.

Vortech is looking for cars with both manual and automatic transmission and states that owners will be responsible for vehicle transport to and from their facility in Oxnard, California.

“The Vortech Supercharging Systems for the 5.0L 4V Coyote-Engine powered Mustang GTs have been making serious horsepower, breaking the 600hp barrier on pump gas with conservative boost pressures! If you have one of these fantastic 2014 Model Year Pony Cars and find yourself in need of a big boost in power, now may be your absolute best chance to do so. We are in need of a few additional 2014 5.0s for R&D – both Manual Transmission and Automatic Transmission cars are needed. Here is your opportunity to take advantage of our need. Vehicles must be otherwise stock, and be sure to act quickly, because you just might be one of the lucky ones to get in on the action at a HEAVILY DISCOUNTED PRICE!” the manufacturer said in a statement.

2014 is the last model year for the fifth-generation Mustang, which will be replaced by a completely redesigned one in the fourth quarter of the year. The new pony will feature updated versions of the V8 and V8 engines, as well as a brand new turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder unit.
