The guys from Vorsteiner have been working hard on their latest wide body kit for BMW’s new M4 and after taking the veils off it, they quickly set up for a complete photo shoot in the desert. Somehow, they thought this would be the perfect setup for the car with the GTRS4 kit but we’re not so sure.
It’s not that it doesn’t look absolutely incredible with all the dust in the wind over there but we’re car guys and we can’t help but wonder what those roads did to the suspension and the more sensible parts of the body that ride closer to the ground than you’d expect.

The entire kit was developed in-house at the American tuner’s HQ in California and we even showed you how it was all put together a while back. The project was created so that everything fits together while improving the drag coefficient at the same time.

For example, the wider fenders are also practical, helping cool off the brakes and channeling the air efficiently through from front to back. That’s an important note to emphasize as their profile extends the car’s width by no less than 4 inches up front and 7 inches in the back (10 and 17.5 centimeters).

As you probably imagined already, the wheels are also special to help fill the gaps. Up front, they’re 10.5 inches wide while round the back they measure no less than 13.5 inches.

Other than the wider fenders, the GTRS4 kit also comes with an elongated bumper that is complemented by a carbon fiber front splitter, a new rear bumper and a carbon fiber rear diffuser. More parts can also be ordered separately, like the exhaust with quad tailpipes and a set of accessories for the interior. To make it easier for you to make up your mind (whether or not to buy it) the guys also put out a set of beautiful photos. Check them out!
