The GTRS3 Aero Package includes a complete splitter, extended front fenders, extended side skirts, rear quarter panel fender arch extensions and wide stance rear bumper with carbon diffuser, which improved the aerodynamics of the car but also the exterior aspect. All these body modifications plus the matte color make for a very aggressive stance.
The Vorsteiner-modified BMW M3 has enlarged arches to make room for extra-wide wheels. The car rides on the latest twin-7 spoke forged 3-piece alloys, called V-308. Customers can choose between 19 and 20 inches wheels. If the 19s are ideal for performance, the 20s are perfect for the show. Clients will have to decide which one they are after. In any case, the design of the wheels is very performance focused, the impression being confirmed by the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 high-performance tires.
For extra money, Vorsteiner will also offer clients stainless-steel quad exhaust, vented carbon fiber hood and the TRS lightweight boot lid.
That doesn’t mean that the standard kit is affordable. The GTRS3 Aero Package will be manufactured in only 100 units, the cost of the kit being in the area of $25,000. At this price some might say that Vorsteiner will have difficulties in finding 100 customers. Especially since Vorsteiner didn’t announce any technical upgrades, like engine, gearbox or suspension.
