What better way to promote the most powerful monster in your inventory that few people are actually going to buy than to make video games after it. We’re not talking about the latest Porsche or Lamborghini, but about something much cooler, the brand new FH16 750 from Volvo Trucks, which been the source of inspiration for a game named after it.
“The game will be released to coincide with the 25 anniversary of our flagship truck. As part of the celebrations, we’re offering some exciting entertainment for all truck enthusiasts,” says Niclas Hermansson, Digital Marketing Strategist at Volvo Trucks.
“It’s easy to learn, but hard to master. If you’re good, you can get onto the high-score lists and boast about your results on Facebook or Twitter. There is also a contest on Worldtrucker, our online truck community, where weekly prizes are awarded,” adds Hermansson.
The game is available as a free download from the Apple App Store or Android Market. Volvo’s king of all trucks can be driven on eight tracks with rising levels of difficulty.
