Every year, men in white shirts with red scarfs descend upon the Pamplona to be chased around by half a ton of live hamburger meat. We don't know why, but some people find this tradition entertaining.
We've seen tons of videos of people getting the horns, but we've never seen something like this: a truck that's been painted red and gets chased by bulls.
Such a video can only come from Volvo Trucks, the only company in the world to let one of its vehicles be driven by a hamster. This time, it's not the FX construction truck, but the lighter, more agile FL city truck that enters the medieval Spanish town of Ciudad Rodrigo, a small cathedral city.
“The town is old, the streets are narrow and we drive on slippery cobblestones. To be chased by bulls on top of that is a real challenge,” says Rob Hunt, precision driver.
“The bulls maintained a consistently high speed and were really close sometimes, but the truck handled the corners very well so it was just a matter of driving. There was a whole lot happening, but the truck helped me the whole way,” says Rob Hunt.
