Super Bowl LV is scheduled to take place two weekends from now on Sunday, February 7. Going head to head will be the Kansas City Chiefs, led by the incredibly talented Patrick Mahomes, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the one and only Tom Brady at QB.
It will definitely be a fantastic day for one of these two teams (plus their fan base), and if either the Chiefs or the Bucs score a Safety on the field, up to $2 million worth of cars will be given away for free by Volvo as part of the carmaker’s Safety Sunday campaign.

Volvo did the exact same thing last year when they put $1 million worth of cars on the line – but now they’re doubling the stakes, and all you have to do for a chance to win one of these cars is visit VolvoSafetySunday.com, where you can design your very own model in whichever trim or colors are available. You can use the configurator or take a short quiz that will result in a model being recommended to you based on your lifestyle.

Once you’re all set, just click ‘Try to win this Volvo’ on the summary page and, well, fingers crossed for a blunder by either the KC or Tampa offense. Of course, both teams are pretty good on that side of the ball, so don’t expect them to spend much time near their own end zones.

If a safety does occur, the Swedish brand will award those $2 million worth of cars to randomly selected entrants. Also, if for some reason you’re not exactly sure what constitutes a safety in football, it’s when an offensive team is “tackled, loses or fumbles the ball, or commits a penalty in their own end zone.”

The result of the play is two points being awarded to the defensive team, which also gets possession of the ball.
