Volvo Cars of North America (VCNA) has announced it’s going to offer employee pricing plus an additional $1,000 to those people who have had their Swedish rides destroyed by the dreaded Hurricane Sandy.
To be eligible, you have to prove that you live in a FEMA-designated disaster or emergency area and can provide necessary documentation is able to claim this offer until January 2nd, 2013.

Sandy was the largest Atlantic hurricane on record and the costliest Atlantic hurricane, only surpassed by 2005’s Katrina. It has caused devastation worth some some $20 billion according to preliminary estimates, but this doesn’t take into account the interruption to businesses.

The hurricane has killed more than 100 people in 10 US states but hit hardest in New Jersey and New York.
