Volvo Cars Has a New Warranty Philosophy: "Pay Once and Never Pay Again"

We've got to hand it to you, the way Volvo's PR and marketing voice played with words on this motto to gain customer attention is worthy of an award. However, we're here to have a better look at their new warranty system.
Volvo Cars of North America will now offer a lifetime parts and labor warranty for all Volvo vehicles serviced after the factory warranty at any Volvo retailer.

In other words, for as long as they own their car, Volvo customers will only pay once for replacement Volvo parts and labor (excluding accessories and wear items).

The new initiative will be available as an integrated feature of the Volvo Service Advantage program. Also, owners will have access to free software updates, complimentary diagnostics, personal service, alternative transportation and a car wash, all on the house.

“We look forward to redefining the way manufacturers service and support their vehicles” said Scott Doering, Vice President of Customer Service, Volvo Cars of North America. “The lifetime parts and labor warranty is a best in class offer from a luxury automaker.”

Here's something that will make owners twice as happy: Volvo doesn't care how old your car is, since officials say all Volvo models are eligible for the Volvo Service Advantage program, including the new warranty policy.

Volvo is keeping employees busy and for good reason. They recently revealed a swivel child seat concept along with a revised On Call app that allows customers to control their car by using only a wrist attached smartwatch.
