The BCN Sport is the second electric motorcycle model of the Spanish manufacturer Volta. If you're looking for a greener daily transportation solution for the cross-town traffic and even around the city, but are also looking for a sporty feeling about your ride, the Volta BCN Sport might just fit the bill.
The BCN Sport is built on the same platform as its City sibling an sports a 3kWh battery pack which sports a 1500-recharge life cycle, and can be easily recharged by plugging the bike in a casual 200V. What's really awesome is that the BCN Sport will be ready to race in just 120 minutes; that is a 2-hour wait for a full recharge, and this is great!
The Lithium-Polymer battery feeds a 34 HP engine developing a no-nonsense torque of 67 Nm (almost 50 ft-lbs), for fast acceleration and a top speed of 120 km/h ( 74.5 mph). The Volta BCN Sport also comes with a belt final driver and sports no clutch and no gearbox: it's all twist the throttle and go ease.
A full charge will provide you with a max range of up to 70 km (43.5 miles), depending on the weight of the rider and speed. The 17” wheels come with a 295mm front rotor and a 240mm rear one. Still waiting for the price.
