The Polo Sedan is marketed under the name Vento in India, where it's actually more of a premium vehicle due to its high price relative the buying power of the local customers. Currently, it's only available with a 1.6-liter petrol engine and more recently with a 1.6-liter TDI diesel, but rumor has it TSI power is on the way.

indiacarsbikes.com
reports that a 1.2 TSI engine will soon be introduced, the same one as the Polo GT 1.2 TSI model sold in India. This means the 16-valve version with 105 PS and 175 Nm of torque, probably fitted only with a DSG7 double-clutch gearbox.

The 1.6-liter TDI will also be replaced with a 1.5-liter TDI, which better meets the local market requirements.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
