Volkswagen UK Offering Great Deal on Polo until April 14th

Volkswagen’s Polo has always been a car that delvers just what it promises, as it is a bit more expensive than some of its competitors, buy you get what you pay for. The German company’s UK division is offering until April 14th a great deal for its customers, with £500 off, competitive finance packages, three years’ free servicing and free insurance.

Unfortunately, the offer doesn’t apply to the powerful Polo GTI, but to the entry-level Polo S with a 1.2-liter engine. The new £9,495 price for the three-door model translates to a monthly payment of £99, when you opt for a 3 year plan with Volkswagen Finance’s popular Solutions PCP package. The deal also includes up to three years or 30,000 miles free servicing (7.9 per cent representative APR). UK drivers over 21 years of age will also benefit from one year’s free insurance. Volkswagen Insurance is sold, underwritten and administered by Allianz Insurance PLC.

This offer applies to all Polo models purchased from stock through a Volkswagen UK Retailer and registered before April 14. If a customer chooses an alternative funding method, the standalone servicing package is available for £299.

The current, fifth-generation Polo was launched back in 2009 and was shortly afterward named European Car of the Year 2010, and, in April, added the awards of World Car of the Year 2010 to its growing collection. VW sold a total of 45,282 Polos last year in the UK, making 2010 the car’s best-selling year since 2003.

The base version of the car was launched with an extensive package of safety and convenience features. A standard feature is the electronic stabilization program ESP. Other standard features include daytime running lights, power-assist steering, electric windows in front, central locking, cargo area lighting, warning buzzer for light left on, height adjustment on driver's seat, vanity mirrors and tinted windows.
