VW is inviting Europeans to re-live 80s' dream, as the company is bringing back the T2 Camper in the Netherlands.
We are talking about an upgraded incarnation of the 1960's Transporter van, which is ready to cater to all your vacation needs, as it comes with features such as a stowable table, a sofa bed, a kitchenette, a sink, a refrigerator, as well as a gas stove.
The vehicle is powered by a 1.4-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder unit that delivers 80 hp, which is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox, with the 0 to 62 mph speed sitting at 16 seconds and the top speed being 84 mph (135 km/h).
The "new" T2, which is built in Brazil, has a price that ranges between €32,425 ($44,700) and €55,995 ($77,190).
Our say: great news, we wish more carmakers would pull similar stunts.
