We were just talking about cars that may or may not be brought stateside a bit earlier and here we are with two VW-badged automotive creations that will stay off the US territory and in fact will be unavailable everywhere else in the world except the German market.
We are talking about the VW Polo R-Line and the VW Passat Exclusive. We'll start with the sporty-looking hatch, which comes with new front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler, redesigned side skirts, chrome exhaust tips, as well as 16- or 17-inch special rims.
The visual go-fast party goes on in the interior, where customers can choose between Alcantara and leather finish, sport seats, a new steering wheel (this really means somethings - remember that VW abuses interior component sharing), piano lacquer trimming and aluminum pedals.
The interior and exterior R-Line goodies can be ordered for the Comfortline and Highline equipment levels.
As for the Passat Exclusive edition, this comes with a lowered suspension, 18-inch rims, a chocolate Nappa leather finish with white stitching, while the trimming is split between wood and aluminum.
