German carmaker Volkswagen recently announced the availability of a new Passat CC lineup, this time featuring some interesting Exclusive touches. Only addressed to European markets, and already on sale in Germany, the car comes in Moonlight Blue pearl and is equipped with 18-inch alloy wheels and chrome details.

Inside, there are several changes as well, including two-tone leather and illuminated door sills, ambient lighting and an extended chrome package.

The new Exclusive equipment package is available with all engine configurations across the range, with pricing starting at 35,225 Euros.

And speaking of engines, the car is available with three engines, two petrol and one diesel, as it follows: 2.0-liter TDI, 1.8-liter TSI and 3.6-liter FSI. The last one develops a maximum power of 300 horsepower at 6600 rpm and a maximum torque of 320 Nm at 2500 rpm. In terms of performance, the car is able to reach 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds, while topping at 155 mph (249 km/h). Fuel consumption goes around 15.5 mpg (15.2 l/100km) city and 32.2 mpg (7.3 l/100km) highway.

This isn't the first upgrade of the year for the Passat CC line, as the German carmaker earlier this year announced an optional bench system that would turn the car into a five-seat. Initially designed to accommodate 4 people, the new Passat, equipped with the new rear bench, is able to carry five persons, benefiting from a third head restraint and a three-point seat belt at the center position.
