Volkswagen has just released the third and final R-line package for the 2011 Touareg, one that concentrates just on the exterior. Among the features that have been added in order to make the 2011 Volkswagen Touareg appear more luxurious, the R Line package includes a textured diffuser, new exhaust tips and a restyled front apron.

This modifications might not meet everyone’s idea of good taste, but the new package gives the Touareg a more aggressive appearance on the outside. However, love the look of the little white monster, as it now resembles a Golf GT.

At the front we spot a typical R-Line spoiler lip that compliments the lines of the headlight assembly well. The side view is dominated by a set of body colored side sills, while at the rear we spot sporty double exhausts, a bespoke roof spoiler and a rear apron that incorporates a diffuser in a matte black finish.

The exterior kit can be specified in combination with the two other available packages, including the standard R-Line one, which comes with 20-inch alloy wheels, a sports suspension, stainless steel door sill plates, a sports steering wheel with decorative inserts in piano black, stainless steel pedals, aluminum trim on the dashboard and the R-Line Plus that adds sports seats in a two-tone leather finish.

The 2011 Volkswagen Touareg R Line Package applies to all engine options except the TSI V6 hybrid, and has a price of EUR1,840 (in Germany) for the V8 TDI and EUR2,200 when ordered on the V6 version.
