Many parts of the world are now so covered in snow and nice that it’s really difficult to move around in something else than a rugged 4x4. So, if were considering buying a pair of snow socks for your Golf GTI, here’s an alternative.
You can leave your car at home, avoid the increased winter-time fuel consumption and exercise to get rid of the weight added during the holidays. How? with a GTI... snow sled.
VW has recently launched two new sleds on its German website, with the winter vehicles already being available for order. The first is the Crazy Bob, which comes with GTI-style mesh grille, red detailing and badges, and can be yours for EUR64 (USD 84 at the current exchange rates).
This is followed by a folding wooden sled, which can fit into every vehicle’s luggage compartment (this is what VW claims) and comes with VW badges, retailing for EUR49.9 (USD64.7).
