Making life a little easier are the ACC Adaptive Cruise Control (with Front Assist & City Emergency Braking), automatic wipers, automatic headlights and a drive mode selector.
The Golf March engine range include a number of other units. The 1.4 TSI can be ordered with an optional 7-speed DSG, as can the 1.6-liter TDI making 105 hp. Also offered is the 150 hp TDI either with a 6-speed stick or the tougher 6-speed DSG that's built to handle high torque. With DSG, this becomes not only the fastest in the range, but also the most expensive with a list price of £24,120.
Well equipped as it may be, the March still has a number of features you might need on its options list, including an 8-inch navigation screen, DCC dynamic chassis control, park assist and a rearview camera. Still, you can't have everything on a mid-grade car, now can you?
