German automaker Volkswagen has released UK pricing information for its latest Golf GTD, which was introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show last month.
Powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged common rail diesel engine with 184 HP and 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) of torque, the new Golf GTD is priced between £25,285 and £27,355 depending on body style and transmission.
Standard safety and convenience equipment for the Golf GTD includes Automatic Post-Collision Braking system, Front Assist, City Emergency Braking, Automatic Distance Control and seven airbags, one of which is mounted for the driver’s knees.
On the options list future customers will find 19-inch “Santiago” alloy wheels, keyless entry, High Beam Assist, Lane Assist, Park Assist, rear view camera and ACC Adaptive Chassis Control. Inside, British drivers can also ask for “Vienna” leather upholstery, touchscreen satellite navigation and a Dynaudio sound pack with 10-channel amplifier and eight speakers.
