Volkswagen Golf 6 and Plus Get Accessorized

The forecasted success of the 2009 World Car of the Year, the Volkswagen Golf 6, would not have been complete without some well-placed factory-produced accessories. Most of them are oriented towards storing and for transporting, but the base line is this: organize the contents of your Golf better than before (people not included).

And the top-of-the-line product of those accessories: a coat hanger, go figure....we are sure you know what this one does so let's move on...What we did find to be interesting is what Volkswagen calls Tim Traffic Backrest Organiser.

Actually a bag, the so-called system has two practical net pockets with zip at the top, two removable adapter pockets with zip in the middle and Tim Traffic imprint as well as a removable bag for 0.5 litre drinking bottles and a large storage pocket at the bottom. This means we can avoid those pesky teddy bears from flying around the car, by "safely and tidily" storing them in the bag.

For the father, VW provides a luggage compartment loadliner with partitioning elements and lid. Anti-slide, anti-slip, anti-acid and even washable, the plastic tray (because that's what it is) is the perfect way to turn your new Golf, or Golf Plus or Tiguan into the perfect workhorse.

Sunblinds for the rear door windows and rear window, supporting rods for the roof rails, roof boxes, available in three volumes (310, 340 or 460 liters), they all come to make your Golf something it was not intended to be.

But if you enjoy this type of extra fittings, follow this link. Unfortunatelly, you might need to know German, but don't let that keep you...
